Confusion in the name of Jamiyat: Not one, two forms of two sections

Many people think after hearing the name "Jamiat", the organizations of India and Bangladesh are the bearers of the same thinking. But the reality is—Ulamaaye Hind in the Jamia and Islamaye in the Jamiae Ulamaaye Islam Bangladesh is opposite to each other in ideals, position and real role.

India's Jamiyat, a strong representation of the traditional Deobandi trend of the subcontinent. They are regularly fighting legal for Indian Muslims rights, religious freedom and protecting Islamic institutions. Their views are clear—"Unity and Religious Freedom".

On the other hand, the role of Bangladesh's land is totally different. For a long time they have been doing some kind of division politics in religious arena by taking a stand against the Tablighi Jamaat. Many of their statements and activities take a stand against the unity of Ummah.

This difference is not just in opinion, but in the space of thoughts and ethics.
So it's said—not the two Jamiats united, but their principles that set them apart.

Even though the name is the same, when the ideal is opposite, it is not unity—the individuality of consciousness is the key. Muslims should take a stand for truth and justice instead of being confused.

জমিয়তের নামে বিভ্রান্তি: এক নয়, দুই ধারার দুই রূপ

"জমিয়ত" নাম শুনে অনেকেই ভাবেন, ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের সংগঠন দুটি বুঝি একই চিন্তার ধারক। কিন্তু বাস্তবতা হলো—জমিয়তে উলামায়ে হিন্দ এবং জমিয়তে উলামায়ে ইসলাম বাংলাদেশ আদর্শ, অবস্থান ও বাস্তব ভূমিকায় একে অপরের বিপরীত।

ভারতের জমিয়ত, উপমহাদেশের ঐতিহ্যবাহী দেওবন্দি ধারার এক বলিষ্ঠ প্রতিনিধিত্ব করে। তারা ভারতীয় মুসলমানদের অধিকার, ধর্মীয় স্বাধীনতা ও ইসলামি প্রতিষ্ঠানসমূহের রক্ষার জন্য নিয়মিতভাবে আইনি লড়াই করে যাচ্ছে। তাদের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি স্পষ্ট—"ঐক্য ও ধর্মীয় স্বাধীনতা"।

অপরদিকে, বাংলাদেশের জমিয়তের ভূমিকা একেবারেই ভিন্ন। দীর্ঘদিন ধরে তারা তাবলীগ জামাতের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নিয়ে ধর্মীয় অঙ্গনে এক প্রকার বিভাজনের রাজনীতি করে যাচ্ছে। তাদের অনেক বক্তব্য ও কর্মকাণ্ড উম্মাহর ঐক্যের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নেয়।

এই ভিন্নতা শুধু মতামতের নয়, বরং চিন্তা ও নীতিগত জায়গায়।
তাই বলা যায়—দুই জমিয়তের এক হওয়া নয়, বরং তাদের মূলনীতিই তাদের আলাদা রেখেছে।

নাম একই হলেও আদর্শ যখন বিপরীতমুখী, তখন ঐক্য নয়—চেতনার স্বতন্ত্রতাই মুখ্য হয়। মুসলমানদের উচিত বিভ্রান্ত না হয়ে সত্য ও ন্যায়ের পক্ষে অবস্থান নেওয়া।

Mahmud Madani said, this relationship is of hundreds of years. My grandfather Syed Hussain Ahmad Madani and Saad Sahib's grandfathers worked together. Tablighi is our organization. We are also Tablighi people. The journalist did not dare to ask any more questions about this.

That's all about Syed Mahmud Madani. The historical role played by Hazrat's own uncle, Awlad-e-Rasul Syed Arshad Madani or the Prophet's son, for the last four months on behalf of Nizamuddin World Markaz and World Ameer Maulana Saad Kandhalvi will be remembered in history for a long time. Maulana Arshad Madani clearly said, "If there is any harm to Maulana Saad Sahib, the consequences will be terrible."

Maulana Arshad, Madani filed a case directly in the Supreme Court of India on behalf of Nizamuddin Markaz and Maulana Saad Sahib against the media conspiracy.

Under the leadership of Hazrat, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Muslims across the country strongly protested against this and played a strong role against the Modi government by standing by the Tablighi followers.

He continued to make statements, speeches and protests on behalf of the Nizamuddin World Markaz every day in the Indian media and TV.
