The holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, the heartbeat of Muslims, and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron have been closed indefinitely by the Israeli government.

The ban was imposed after dawn on Friday. The Palestinian Ministry of World Affairs and Religious Affairs condemned the restrictions on worshippers entering the mosque.

All doors of the Al-Aqsa Mosque have been closed indefinitely in accordance with the orders of the Israeli Home Front Command. As a result, worshippers were unable to perform Friday prayers yesterday.
