Abdullah ibn Masud رضي الله عنه said:
“I hate to see a man completely idle —
striving neither for his dunya
nor for his akhirah.” (Al-Ḥilyah)
No work.
No ibadah.
That is not rest —
that is decay.

Al-Hasan al-Basei رحمه الله said:
“If you saw the companions, you would say: ‘They are crazy.’ And if they saw you, they would say: ‘These are not Muslims.’”

The standard changed.

You Are Being Overtaken
After you break free
from social media addiction,
you will realize:
Others moved ahead.
Some memorized the Qur’an.
Some mastered tajwid.
Some grew in knowledge.
While you sat — scrolling.
Your life didn’t pause.
It moved.
And you are now
closer to your grave
than you think.
Reflect —
before regret becomes useless.

Understand this clearly:

Reforming a society is not an easy task. It requires proper knowledge, patience, and a deep understanding of human nature. Otherwise, efforts to bring reform may actually increase فساد (corruption and disorder).
