The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“You will never leave something for the sake of Allah except that He replaces it with something better.” [Musnad Ahmad 23074]
You think you’re losing.
But you’re being upgraded.

I have a short book on this topic available on Amazon. If you have time, you may read it. https://www.amazon.com/Forbidding-Evil-Society-Without-Causing-ebook/dp/B0GHZXW13H
You leave beneficial circles —
others take your place.
You stay away from the masjid —
others fill the rows.
You abandon the Qur’an —
others carry it in their hearts.
You distance yourself from Allah —
others draw closer.
Understand this clearly:
Nothing you left
needed you.
The loss
is entirely yours.
After you break free
from social media addiction,
you will realize:
Others moved ahead.
Some memorized the Qur’an.
Some mastered tajwid.
Some grew in knowledge.
While you sat — scrolling.
Your life didn’t pause.
It moved.
And you are now
closer to your grave
than you think.
Reflect —
before regret becomes useless.
Al-Hasan al-Basei رحمه الله said:
“If you saw the companions, you would say: ‘They are crazy.’ And if they saw you, they would say: ‘These are not Muslims.’”
(Ḥilyat al-Awliyāʾ)
The standard changed.
Not the deen —
but the people.
Whoever rectifies his inner self, Allah will rectify his outer state.
