Why would you rather live in America and not live in your current country? Is it because your current country is oppressive? জমিয়তের নামে বিভ্রান্তি: এক নয়, দুই ধারার দুই রূপ "জমিয়ত" নাম শুনে অনেকেই ভাবেন, ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের সংগঠন দুটি বুঝি একই চিন্তার ধারক। কিন্তু বাস্তবতা হলো—জমিয়তে উলামায়ে হিন্দ এবং জমিয়তে উলামায়ে ইসলাম বাংলাদেশ আদর্শ, অবস্থান ও বাস্তব ভূমিকায় একে অপরের বিপরীত। ভারতের জমিয়ত, উপমহাদেশের ঐতিহ্যবাহী দেওবন্দি ধারার এক বলিষ্ঠ প্রতিনিধিত্ব করে। তারা ভারতীয় মুসলমানদের অধিকার, ধর্মীয় স্বাধীনতা ও ইসলামি প্রতিষ্ঠানসমূহের রক্ষার জন্য নিয়মিতভাবে আইনি লড়াই করে যাচ্ছে। তাদের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি স্পষ্ট—"ঐক্য ও ধর্মীয় স্বাধীনতা"। অপরদিকে, বাংলাদেশের জমিয়তের ভূমিকা একেবারেই ভিন্ন। দীর্ঘদিন ধরে তারা তাবলীগ জামাতের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নিয়ে ধর্মীয় অঙ্গনে এক প্রকার বিভাজনের রাজনীতি করে যাচ্ছে। তাদের অনেক বক্তব্য ও কর্মকাণ্ড উম্মাহর ঐক্যের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নেয়। এই ভিন্নতা শুধু মতামতের নয়, বরং চিন্তা ও নীতিগত জায়গায়। তাই বলা যায়—দুই জমিয়তের এক হওয়া নয়, বরং তাদের মূলনীতিই তাদের আলাদা রেখেছে। নাম একই হলেও আদর্শ যখন বিপরীতমুখী, তখন ঐক্য নয়—চেতনার স্বতন্ত্রতাই মুখ্য হয়। মুসলমানদের উচিত বিভ্রান্ত না হয়ে সত্য ও ন্যায়ের পক্ষে অবস্থান নেওয়া।

Even though the name is the same, when the ideal is opposite, it is not unity—the individuality of consciousness is the key. Muslims should take a stand for truth and justice instead of being confused.
