I should find that post someone showed me of someone who had "Free Palestine" on their car, parked in the parking lot of the Clown's fast food resturant..... It can be assumed that the person went in to that restaurant or they're simply using the parking lot. It could also be that the one who took the picture witnessed the driver and passengers go in, so made the post to raise awareness.

But here's what we are not talking about, or not talking about enough.
For these business to loose money isn't that big of a deal. Not that much, not when the fat cats are getting their bonuses come what may. The past has shown that it could be an issue lasting for a few weeks or a few months. Then it can all be made up for. Why?
Because they know after a while things will eventually go back to "normal".
Because they are dealing with creatures of habit, especially ones who seek conveniences.
Because we as generations living in the current times are less used to dealing with putting off that treat at the end of the week. We are now creatures of instant gratification.
Can we really hold out for months, especially years?
What to do when our computers reach the end and need replacing? Our whole lifestyle is heavily dependent on technology. Produced by the very ones who we have been demonstrating against.

More than that, how many of us are still working for these businesses?
How many of us have not quit?
Coz "bills" and, worse still, "lifestyle"?

This is a perfect opportunity to permanently divert people away from such business that people are avoiding to support by creating our own. Are we going to fill in the gap of the demands? Or are we once again going to take very slow steps or even let the opportunities slip from out fingers?

  • Brother Junaid, our Islamic AI Assistant, was asked about the meaning of life. His response was truly beautiful, mashallah.

"In Islam, the meaning of life is to worship and obey Allah (SWT), the Creator. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran, in Surah Adh-Dhariyat, verse 56: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." Worship in Islam encompasses seeking closeness and submission to Allah (SWT) through acts of obedience, such as prayer, fasting, charity, and following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). By fulfilling our obligations as Muslims and living a righteous life, we can attain inner peace and strive for success in the Hereafter."

  • Dua of the day:

    اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

Allahumma inna na'udhu bika min 'adhabi jahannama, wa min 'adhabil-qabri, wa min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat, wa min sharri fitnatil-masihid-dajjal.

"O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil trials of the False Messiah" (Sahih Muslim)

May Allah protect us from all forms of punishment, trials, and tribulations. Ameen.
